Arrival
i am here safe and sound although i am sure you discovered, mom, that i don't have any phone access here. i'm not sure why not, but it is totally blank as far as service. i hope you check this soon because this is the first way i found to get in touch with you. i will try to figure out how to call you.i will write more later -- right now i am with a young woman i met on the plane (22), we just got back from st. thomas's martyr site, and are heading out for lunch.
i'm great! i love being here. i feel so comfortable, so "me". i wish it had worked out for me to actually live here. *sigh* there's pretty much no way for me to stay here, unless someone comes up with funding, like, yesterday.
tentative itinerary: tomorrow: to mallapuram. next day to pondicherry. two days there. then back up to chennai to get a flight to goa. two days in goa. then to delhi to meet stephanie. yeah, stephanie! we are going to have such an amazing time.
i am thinking of a train journy from delhi to kolkata via agara. but open to suggestions! :) we'll figure it all out when you arrive. i can't wait to see you!
